Former Chelsea defender Andreas Christensen is delighted to be a Barcelona player. The Dane was presented to the local media today at the Nou Camp.
Christensen said: “Every day I do my job and it depends on the path. All the players want to play every week, but the competition for minutes is healthy and I really want to give everything. With Chelsea I have won very special trophies. I am proud of my stage at Chelsea.
“I am looking forward to the competition. (Gerard) Piqué is a legend. I have liked his game for years. “It’s probably a dream for me. It’s a proud day.
“It’s special. Playing here with Xavi at Barcelona. I’m going to do my best.”
“The conversation (with Xavi) was an honour and about the way of playing. It’s a dream for me. “In each team you have to compete to do better. My style of play fits very well here.”
