Italian Serie A giants AC Milan has confirmed that Nigeria’s Super Eagles winger Samuel Chukwueze has suffered a hamstring injury.
The skilful winger was in action for Nigeria in an international friendly against Saudi Arabia but missed Monday’s game against Mozambique.
Chukwueze has returned to Italy to join the Rossoneri but it has been confirmed that he will be out of action for a month.
He will miss some key games for the club including the UEFA Champions League matches.
But he’s expected to be available for the next International break in November when Super Eagles will face Lesotho and Zimbabwe in the 2026 FIFA World Cup qualifier.
