Super Falcons striker, Asisat Oshoala scored for Bays FC against her former club, Barcelona in a friendly game early this morning in Califonia.
Oshoala was named Player of the Match after the game despite suffering a 5-2 defeat to her former side.
This was the first time the record six-time African Women’s Player of the Year faced her former club since joining the NWSL side in February.
Recall that during her time with Barcelona, Oshoala scored 85 goals in 101 matches between 2019 and 2024.
She won five Primera Division titles, three UEFA Women’s Champions League titles, four Supercopa de Espana Femenina titles, three Copa de la Reina titles, and one Copa Catalunya title.
