The Technical Adviser of Rivers United Stanley Eguma has insisted that they have to work hard to win the game.
The Pride of Rivers will host the Tunisian giant Club Africain on Sunday at the Goodswill Akpabio stadium in Uyo.
The Nigerian side lost the second game to Dream FC which made the game a must-win for them.
” The game against Club Africain is a big match considering the pedigree of both teams.
“We are prepared because they are a good team, having won their first two games but we are hitching to make sure we win our 3rd game.
Having lost the second game, we have to work hard to win the 3rd game and I believe we are going to get a good result”, Eguma said at the pre-match conference.
Club Africaine are topping Group C table with six points from two matches while Dream FC are second with same three points with Rivers United but have better goal difference. Only top two teams from the group after the round robin games will qualify for the quarter-final of the 2023/24 CAF Confederation Cup.
