Manchester United goalkeeper David de Gea is confident that the club’s supporters will enjoy watching the team under the management of new head coach Erik ten Hag.
A disappointing 2021-22 campaign saw the Red Devils finish sixth in the Premier League table, in addition to being knocked out of the FA Cup in the fourth round and EFL Cup in the third round.
Man United did make the last-16 stage of the Champions League last term but were knocked out by Atletico Madrid, losing 1-0 at home in the second leg of their knockout fixture.
The club are now preparing for the new season under Ten Hag, who has been in charge of pre-season training at the Carrington complex over the last week.
De Gea is confident that the Man United fans will “love” the new style of football, and the Spaniard has also said that the players are “all very excited for the new season”.
