Following his superb display for Lazio, former coach of Nigeria’s Super Eagles Jose Peseiro has insisted that Fisayo Dele-Bashiru has the qualities to play in the Italian Serie A.
Dele-Bashiru moved to the Serie A side this summer on loan after a decent outing last season with the Turkish club Hatayaspor.
Despite that, he has yet to establish himself properly in the team. Dele-Bashiru has refused to disappoint anytime he’s called upon.
“His qualities had struck us a lot when we were looking at the players eligible for the call-up.
“He is demonstrating his value, while still adapting to the demands of Italian football and Lazio”, he said.
