D’Tigers will today (Thursday) slug it out with the senior male national team of Democratic Republic of Congo in one of the quarter-final of the 2023 FIBA Afrocan.
Despite securing a comprehensive victory against Mali in opening match, D’Tigers failed to progress directly to the knock-out stages after suffering a defeat to the host, Angola on Monday.
D’Tigers bounced back to beat Gabon in the Classification game to qualify for the quarter-final where they face DR Congo at 1:00 pm today.
Earlier before Nigeria quarter-final game at 10:30 am, Kenya and Morocco will fight for Semifinal slot while Angola tackle Rwanda at 6pm.
Tunisia will trade tackles with Cote d’Ivoire in the last quarter-final match.
