After meeting on the field of play in the match day one of the 2025 African Cup of Nations qualifier, the coach of the Cheetah of Benin Gernot Rohr, and the interim coach of Nigeria’s Super Eagles Austin Eguavoen met again in Abidjan.
Both men clashed at the Godswill Akpabio Stadium in Uyo last week and it was Eguavoen who prevailed 3-0.
The Confederation of African Football is presently organizing a symposium for African coaches in Abidjan, Ivory Coast and both men were among the invited guest.
They met at the venue of the event just before the starting of the event they exchanged banters and later engaged in discussion about the just concluded round of qualifier.
After two games, Super Eagles sat on top of the group with 4 points with Benin in second position while Rwanda and Libya occupied 3rd and 4th position respectively.
