It was a mixed feeling for Nigeria’s Super Eagles forward Kelechi Iheanacho as his goal counted for little in their 5-2 defeat to Brighton & Hove Albion

The Foxes who are yet to record a win in the 2022/2023 English Premier League season travelled to Amex Stadium on Sunday and started on a good note.

Nigeria international netted the opening goal in the first minute in what look like the fastest goal in the league this season.

The Seagull bounced back strongly as they forced Leicester defender Thomas to concede a goal while Moises Caicedo made it 2-1 in favour of the host.

Zambia international Patson Daka restored parity in the 33rd minute and ensured that the first half ended 2-2.

Brighton proved too much for Leicester City who paraded another Nigeria international Wilfred Ndidi playing as a central defender.

Goals from Trossard and a Macallister brace made a resounding 5-2 for the host and condemned the away side to another defeat.
