Ahead of the start of the 2024/2025 English Premier League season, Nigeria’s Super Eagles and Leicester City midfielder Wilfred Ndidi has changed his jersey number.
The Nigerian International joined the Foxes in 2017 from Belgian Jupiler Pro League side Genk.
He was handed jersey number 25 then and that was what he has been using ever since.
The club released the list of registered players and jersey numbers for the new season on Wednesday, and Ndidi was handed number 6.
Ndidi has made 273 appearances for the club in all competitions, scored 17 goals and recorded 17 assists.
