Following his decent run in the final against Bayer Leverkusen, Nigeria’s Super Eagles winger Ademola Lookman has been nominated for the player of the week.
The Nigerian International fired a hat-trick in Atalanta’s comprehensive 3-0 win over the German champion Bayer Leverkusen.
UEFA listed the Nigerian forward alongside two of his teammates Davide Zappacosta and Ederson while Levekusen’s Piero Hincapie was also named.
Lookman is expected to be in the Super Eagles team that will face South Africa and Benin in the upcoming 2026 FIFA World Cup qualifier.
