Former coach Rigobert Song was relieved of his duties a few weeks ago following the poor outing of the country in the 2023 African Cup of Nations in Ivory Coast.
Despite managing to qualify from the group stage, the 5-time African champions succumbed to the firing power of Nigeria’s Super Eagles in the round of 16.
According to the update from Cameroon, the country’s football body has opened the discussion with the Super Eagles’ former coach Jose Peseiro.
The Portuguese gaffer departed Nigeria after the expiration of his contract.
Due to his performance in Ivory Coast, Peseiro has attracted numerous suitors and FECAFOOT is the latest to open a discussion with the former Venezuela boss.
