The FIBA 3×3 Africa competition has ended in Egypt and Team Nigeria finished second to clinch a silver medal.
Egypt completed a perfect run in the competition with a strong 18 – 15 win over an impressive Nigerian team.
Ahmed Mohamed led his side in scoring with 7 while Mido Taha added 6, Amr Zahran capped off a 5-point display with a thunderous dunk to seal the tie in favour of the home side.
Meanwhile, Nigeria’s Robert Chima Ukawuba was named in the team of the tournament alongside Rami Basha ( Egypt) and the tournament’s top scorer Elly Randriamampionona (Madagascar).
