Nigeria’s Super Eagle coach Jose Peseiro has told the Flying Eagles to keep their heads up despite losing out at the quarter-final of the U20 World Cup.
The Nigerian side lost 1-0 to their South Korean counterpart after extra time in Santiago Sunday.
The Portuguese gaffer who is already in the country for the upcoming 2023 African Cup of Nation qualifier urged the players not to be depressed as they have made the country proud.

“What you have shown in this world cup made Nigerian people proud. They fought and honoured to the end and earned a place among the top 8 teams in the World”, he said.
