Super Eagles Interim Coach, Finidi George has said the Super Eagles are ready for the friendly matches against Ghana and Mali.
George stated this after his first training in charge as interim coach of Nigeria for the friendlies against Ghana and Mali.
He noted that the players will take the games seriously to put smiles on the faces of Nigerians.
“These are two games that are crucial for Nigerians. We have to take it seriously. Definitely, as a coach, there’s responsibility but that’s what we do, you know. We have to be calm and do our job and make sure we do it properly. A lot of Nigerians are watching, so we want to make them proud.”
Super Eagles confront West African arch-rivals Ghana on Friday and the Les Aigles of Mali at the same Grand Stade de Marrakech on Tuesday, 26th March.
