Nigeria’s U20 national team, Flying Eagles, have qualified for the semi-final of the 2024 West African Football Union (WAFU) B U20 after defeating Cote D’Ivoire 2-1 in their last group game.
Nigeria lost 0-1 to Burkina Faso in Group B opener while Burkina Faso suffered a 0-1 loss to Cote D’Ivoire. Nigeria, the 2022 WAFU B champions topped the group because ithey are the only team with two goals advantage while Ivory Coast are second because they scored two goals and Burkina Faso dropped out of the competition finishing third in the group.
Group B table toppers, Nigeria will take on Niger Republic who had four points in Group A
