Former Super Falcons captain, Desire Oparanozie has been hospitalised in an undisclosed hospital following a sickness that hit her.
She disclosed this on her official X account with photos of her on drips and injections, describing it as “Stress/sickness. This one knocked me out, but I’m stronger.”
Meanwhile, Nigerians have sympathized with her over the unfortunate incident while wishing her quick recovery and back in good health.
Recall that the former Super Falcons striker brought an end to her illustrious career after she announced her retirement from both country and club football at the age of 29.
Oparanozie’s journey in football is set to continue despite her retirement following her new role with the Imo State Football Association as an “Honorary Member.”
