The Tunisian football community was stirred on Friday following the sentencing of former Football Federation President Wadie Jary.
A high court in Tunisia handed Jary a four-year prison sentence after finding him guilty of multiple offences.
The case originated from a judicial complaint filed by the Ministry of Youth and Sports concerning an unlawful contract between the Federation and a Technical Director.
Jary had faced several accusations over the years, including match-fixing, financial misconduct, and money laundering.
He served as the Federation’s president from 2012.
