Egypt will be the capital of African women’s basketball from December 11 to 19, when Cairo host the 2023 edition of the African League in which 12 teams will be competing.
While the qualifiers are still in progress, eight clubs have already validated their ticket for the final phase.
The two Egyptian teams Sporting Alexandria and Al Ahly will represent the host country.
Primeiro de Agosto and Inter Clube will be the Angolan representatives, after having won their qualifications by benefiting from the packages of their opponents.
Overdose Up Station and the University of Douala (Cameroon), as well as Kenya Ports Authority (Kenya) and Rwanda Energy Group (Rwanda), are the other qualified teams while waiting for the last five qualifiers during the zonal tournaments.
