Nigeria-eligible player Folarin Balogun made all the headlines in the French Ligue on Wednesday as he netted a hat trick in Stade De Reim’s 4-2 win over FC Lorient to become the highest goal scorer with 14 goals.
Le Fee and Kone put Lorient ahead in the 10th and 35th minutes before Balogun reduced the tally for Reims in the 44th minute from the penalty spot.
Doumbia scored the equaliser for the host in the 51st minute before Balogun scored twice in the 61st and 64th minutes to ensure a 4-2 victory.
The Arsenal’s loanee has now scored 14 league goals for Reims this season to emerge Ligue 1 highest goal scorer.
