Despite having a splendid season with the Dutch Eredivisie side Ajax Amsterdam, Nigeria-eligible forward Chuba Akpom might be on his way out of the club, BSNSports.com.ng reports.
Akpom joined the Dutch side this summer after having a decent season with the English Championship side Middlesbrough last season.
And despite starting slowly with the former European Champions, Akpom has become a key player for the club scoring 9 goals in the ongoing season.
Former French Ligue One champion LOSC Lille has approached Ajax to secure the services of the attacker.
But remained unseen if Ajax would allow Akpom to leave during the January winter transfer window.
If the deal is to Lille, Akpom will the loads of Nigerians that have played for the French side in the past.
