Nigeria forward Akor Adams has said that French Ligue One is tougher than he expected.
The Nigerian International joined the Montpellier SC this season from the Norwegian club Lillestrom and he has been able to show his stuff since his arrival.
Adams confirmed that French is tactically and technically strong and tough.
“Ligue 1 is a little harder than I thought, whether technically, physically, or because of the speed of the game and I have to adapt very quickly. I am aware of it and I give the best of myself to achieve it.
“I obviously followed Ligue 1 because many Nigerian players have excelled there in the past like Okocha, Utaka or Osimhen to name a few and I am happy to have the opportunity to play here,” he said.
Adams who has scored 3 goals this season is expected to be in action on Sunday when Montpellier face Stade Rennes
