Premier League side Fulham is showing interest in Super Eagles midfielder Alex Iwobi.
The Cottagers are keen to bolster their attack following the £46million exit of star forward Aleksandar Mitrovic to Saudi Pro League giants Al-Hilal earlier this summer.
Iwobi suffered an injury during Everton’s miserable 4-0 defeat by Aston Villa and thus missed out on the Toffees’ 1-0 loss to Wolves last weekend.
Sean Dyche, who has strengthened on the flanks with new summer signings Arnaut Danjuma and Jack Harrison, may feel Iwobi is now surplus to requirements and sanction a move should Fulham submit an offer.
Everton sit bottom of the Premier League table after three matches and have a crucial early relegation battle with newly-promoted side Sheffield United this weekend.
Iwobi, who has taken on a deeper role at Goodison Park since his switch from the Gunners, has only racked up nine goals and 16 assists from 140 appearances with the Toffees.
The Cottagers have had a somewhat quiet window in the transfer market, signing only Calvin Bassey, Raul Jimenez, and Adama Traore this summer.
