Godson Brume has qualified for the 2024 Olympics after recording remarkable performancet winning the the third heat of the men’s 100m at the SEC Outdoor Championships, turning in a Season’s Best (SB) of 10.05s (0.6) for the victory.
He beat his LSU teammate Myles Thomas who ran 10.16s and Tarsis Orogot in 10.17s.
Brume ran a remarkable season-best time of 9.99 seconds to record the significant milestone in his 2024 campaign.
This impressive performance not only secured his championship title but also sealed his qualification for the upcoming Paris Olympics.
His compatriot, Kanyinsola Ajayi placed 7th, running personal best of 10.09 seconds,
Meanwhile, Favour Ashe, was notably absent from the competition.
