Spain-born, Nigerian striker Samu Omorodion has made it clear that he never thought of representing Nigeria in International football.
The 19-year-old attacker joined Atletico Madrid earlier this season and is presently on loan at Alaves.
Despite having Nigerian parents, Omorodion is presently in camp with the Spanish U21 team where he made the statement about his international future.
“Spain has given me the opportunity and I am very grateful for it. I don’t think about Nigeria.
“My goal is to debut with the senior side and have my career in Spain”, he told AS Dario.
Despite starting just five games, Omorodion has four goals in his 12 appearances in La Liga this season.
