Newly acquired Nigeria’s Super Eagles forward Kelechi Iheanacho has made it clear of his intentions to lead Sevilla to the La Liga title.
Sevilla had a season to forget last season, where they struggled throughout the whole season and had to survive relegation with a few games to end the season.
Iheanacho joined Sevilla on Tuesday after he departed the English Premier League side Leicester City.
” I have had the opportunity to do personal training with a coach in pre-season. That also helps me stay fit. “I’m not far from being 100% fit.
Hopefully, I’ll join them soon and then build up the rest of my fitness. I hope to be ready to play the first game.
” I don’t have any personal goals. I can have a goal for myself, but the most important thing is the team itself, my teammates.
Together we can achieve great things this season.
“We have to give 100 percent in every game. We have to give our best in every game, without complacency.
Hopefully, we will be at the top of the table and go very far this season”, he said
