Former Super Eagles striker Odion Ighalo has shared his delight following his 4-star performance after he sent his Saudi Arabian club Al Hilal to the final of the AFC Champions League final.
Ighalo showed class scoring four goals in the 7-0 pummeling of Al Duhail of Qatar on Sunday.
Former Manchester United and Watford striker Ighalo scored his first goal inside 90 seconds to set Al Hilal on the way to the final against Japan’s Urawa Red Diamonds where they will seek a record-extending fifth title.
Ighalo who was on fire then made Al Duhail coach, former Argentina star Hernan Crespo changed goalkeepers, but that didn’t stop Ighalo from scoring to the disconsolate and disgusted Duhail fans who started leaving the stadium before the end of the game.
Mali attacker Moussa Merega also scored a brace and Salem al-Dawsari found the back of the net once.
The Nigerian posted a tweet with three emojis on his Twitter handle which read: ” Asian champions league final. Vamos.”
Meanwhile, the two-match final will be played on April 29 and May 6. Al Hilal beat Urawa when they last met in the final in 2019.
