Nigeria’s Super Eagles forward Kelechi Iheanacho was the cynosure of all eyes on Saturday in Leicester City’s 2-0 win over Stoke City.
The skilful left-footed attacker put Leicester City ahead in the 24th minute and ensured a lead for the host going into the halftime.
The Nigerian international was subbed off in the 77th minute for his compatriot Wilfred Ndidi and he was given a standing ovation by the home fans.
Ndidi lived up to the expectations as he assisted former England international Jamie Vardy for the second goal in the 79th minute and ended the game at 2-0.
Meanwhile, Iheanacho was given the Man of the Match award for the encounter played at the King Power Stadium.
