The update coming from BayArena the home of German Bundesliga side Bayer Leverkusen indicates that injured Nigeria’s Super Eagles forward Victor Boniface will return before the end of the year.
Boniface sustained an injury while in the Super Eagles camp preparing for the 2023 African Cup of Nations.
He had a successful surgery and has commenced rehabilitation for his recovery.
The update from the club medics indicated that Boniface will be back on the 30th of March against Hoffenheim or April 3rd against Fortuna Dusseldorf.
Boniface had 10 goals in 16 games before he sustained an injury.
