The coach of the Italian Serie A side AC Milan Stephan Pioli received good news on Monday evening as the club medics confirmed the return date for the injured Nigeria’s Super Eagles winger Samuel Chukwueze.
The Nigerian International sustained the injury while representing the Super Eagles in an international friendly against Saudi Arabia.
The San Siro giants seem to have struggled in his absence as they have failed to win since he sustained the injury.
The club’s medical department confirmed that Chukwueze will be back for the weekend game against Udinese and also for the UEFA Champions League game against PSG next week.
The recovery will also be big news to the Super Eagles coach Jose Peseiro ahead of the 2026 World Cup qualifier against Lesotho and Zimbabwe.
