Sporting Kansa City the host venue for the International friendly match between Unitd States Women national and Nigeria’s Super Falcons has announced the start of the ticket sale.
US Women’s National Team (USWNT) who is the most successful women team in the world will go face to face with the 9-time African champions at the Children’s Mercy Park in Kansas City, Kansas on September 3, before squaring off again at the Audi Field in Washington on September 6.
“Tickets are now on sale for fans to secure seats to see the United States Women’s National Team take on Nigeria at 12:30 p.m. CT on Saturday, Sept. 3 at Children’s Mercy Park in Kansas City, Kan. as both teams prepare for the 2023 FIFA Women’s World Cup,” the statements said.
Nigeria, ranked No. 39 in the world, led by American head coach Randy Waldrum, the Super Falcons have participated in all eight FIFA Women’s World Cups and qualified for the 2023 FIFA Women’s World Cup last month.
The United States is 6-0-0 all-time against Nigeria with four of the victories coming in World Cup competition and one at the 2000 Olympics. The teams last played on June 16, 2021, in the first-ever match at Q2 Stadium in Austin, Texas as the U.S. won 2-0.
