Nigeria’s Super Eagles coach Jose Peseiro has attributed the inability to beat Saudi Arabia to poor finishing from the attackers.

The Arab country forced the Nigerian team to a 2-2 in an international friendly played in Portugal on Friday.

While reacting to the game, the Portuguese gaffer made it clear that they lacked the killer instinct but expressed his happiness about the result.

“I think we played very well in the first half and could have scored about three to five goals and in the second half as well.

“We created more chances in the second half but we needed the killer instinct in this squad I’m happy with the result.”

“We need to improve on our finishing”, he said.

Super Eagles will face Mozambique in the second friendly game on Monday.
