After many games without scoring, Nigeria’s Super Eagles forward Victor Osimhen finally ended his goal drought in Napoli’s victory over Monza.
Osimhen just recovered from an injury that denied him the opportunity to represent Nigeria in the double-header international friendly game against Ghana and Mali.
The Italian champions confronted Monza on Sunday afternoon and secured a 2-4 win.
It was the host who netted the opening goal in the 9th minute through Duric before Osimhen restored parity in the 55th minute.
Politano put Napoli ahead 2 minutes later Zienlinski made it 1-3 in the 61st minute and Colpani reduced the deficit for the host a minute later.
Raspadori sealed the game in the 68th minute and earned Napoli a well-deserved 2-4 win.
