Spanish La Liga side Villarreal earned a 2-1 win over city rivals, Valencia on Saturday and it was a day good outing for Nigeria’s Super Eagles winger Samuel Chukwueze.
After 20 minutes of the end-to-end game, Uruguay International Edison Cavani put the away side ahead in the 21st minute to silence the home crowd at the Estadio De La Ceramica.
On the stroke of halftime, Nigeria International, Samuel Chukwueze lived up to the billings with a well-taken goal to level the scoreline.
Chukwueze was replaced by Jackson in the 72nd minute before Justin Foyte sealed the game with the second goal in the 89th minute.
