Nigeria’s Super Eagles striker Sadiq Umar was the hero on Sunday evening in the Spanish La Liga as Real Sociedad defeated Sevilla 2-1.
Since recovering from an injury that kept him out for long, Umar is yet to score for the Spanish side.
Dmitrovic own goal put the host ahead in the 2nd minute before the Nigerian International netted the second goal in the 22nd minute.
El Neysri halved the deficit for Sevilla in the 60th minute before Sadiq was replaced in the 75th minute as it ended 2-1 in favour of Real Sociedad.
