Lewandowski Wants England Move

Manchester United could reignite interest in Robert Lewandowski at a time where he’s looking to leave Bayern Munich for the Premier League.

In a parallel universe, Manchester United would have signed Robert Lewandowski over Robin van Persie back in the summer transfer window of 2012.

The Poland international previously confirmed he held talks about joining the Red Devils back when Sir Alex Ferguson ruled the roost. Now, with the Bayern Munich hitman apparently seeking a move to the Premier League, the fallen giants could be tempted to act.

Sky Sports Germany reporter, Marc Behrenbeck, has claimed Lewandowski will look to leave Bayern at the end of the season, having achieved everything possible during his time at the Allianz Arena.

He said: “What we know about Lewandowski and his agent Pini Zahavi. “Lewandowski really wants to have this one big move, to Spain or the Premier League. Really great markets for players.

“So Lewandowski and his agent will try to get this move in the summer. But until this time Bayern want to extend his contract. So what is happening at Bayern at the moment?

“The first point of contact is Lewandowski to extend his contract and if this doesn’t work they will be back in the game around Erling Haaland. “But at the moment, they want to extend his contract.
