Host Mexico has emerged as the winner of the 2023 Revelation Cup that was held in Leon.
The North Americans hosted 4 countries including Nigeria’s Super Falcons in an invitational tournament organised to prepare the teams for the upcoming 2023 FIFA Women’s World Cup that will be co-hosted by Australia and New Zealand.
Mexico finished on top of the table with 5 points after winning one game and drawing twice against Costa Rica and Colombia while their only victory came against Nigeria.
Colombia finished in the second position with 5 points also but had an inferior goal difference to the host.
Super Falcons finished in the 3rd position with 3 points after a win against Costa Rica.
