The coach Rafiu Salami tutored the team, started the game against Libya in front foot winning the first half 14-10.
They continued their dominant performance in the second half and recorded 31-24 win to wrap up the game.
The Nigerian team will face Cameroon in the 9th placement match on Friday at 3 pm Nigeria time
