A key official of Orlando Pirates has insisted that the absence of Nigeria’s Super Eagles defender Olisa Ndah is a setback for the team.
Ndah joined the South African Premier League club in 2021 after helping Akwa United to the Nigeria Professional Football League title.
He has been out of action in the past few weeks due to unspecified injury and the club is hoping to have him back before the end of January.

“He is doing well and he will soon be back to continue from where he left off with his progress in the team.
“It’s not a major setback and soon he will be available for the coach and the technical team to decide on his selection.
“He has done well since joining the club and he’s looking forward to continuing when he returns”, the official told Laduma.
