The Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) will not engage substantive head coach for the Super Falcons until next year as Justin Madugu resumes on interim coach.
According to a source, NFF is done with the former coach, Randy Waldrum and will name his replacement in 2025.
The impeccable source from Sunday Dankaro House (NFF headquarters) in Abuja revealed that the federation will not secure employment of the country’s women’s senior national team head coach until 2025 because there is no competition for the team this year.
He added that in a deliberate attempt to get the best from the home based players, Justin Madugu will be announced as the interim coach who will invite 30 home based players to camp in Abuja before the commencement of the 2024/25 Nigeria Women’s Football League.
“The Nigeria Football Federation will not engage the services of any substantive coach for the Super Falcons until next year because there is no international games for them this year.
