Nigeria, 52 Others Set For 2nd African Beach Games

Nigeria and other 52 African countries have been listed for the second edition of the African Beach Games and Nigeria is listed among the participants.

The number exceeded those 42 countries that participated in the first African Beach Games in Sal, Cape Verde, four years ago.

Among the participating nations are Nigeria, South Africa, Algeria, Angola, Benin, Botswana, Burkina Faso, Cameroon, Cape Verde, Central African Republic, Comoros, Congo Brazzaville, Djibouti, Egypt, Eswatini, Ethiopia, Gabon, and the Gambia. Additionally, Ghana, Guinea, Guinea Bissau, Equatorial Guinea, Mauritius Island, Kenya, Lesotho, Libya, Madagascar, Malawi, Mali, Morocco, Mauritania, Mozambique, Namibia, Niger, Uganda, the Democratic Republic of Congo, Rwanda, Sao Tome and Principe, Senegal, Seychelles, Sierra Leone, South Sudan, Sudan, Tanzania, Chad, Togo, Zambia, Zimbabwe, and the hosts, Tunisia.

A total of 1,100 athletes are expected to compete in 30 events at the Games in the Tunisian resort town of Hammamet from June 23-30, 2023
