Nigerian Para Athletes proved their mettle at the 3 day Para Athletics Grand Prix which took place at Nottwil, Switzerland as they won 11 gold and 5 silver medals to confirm their dominance at the top stage.
Onyegbule Lovina won gold in the 100m, Joy Ahiakwo doubled the joy by winning in the 100mT/45, Ugunwa Flora dispersed all opponents to win gold in the discuss F/57, Chituru Nwaozuzu also clinched gold in her event.
Other winners are Amon Abraham who leapt to gold in the T/44 men high jump, Edosomwan Ossaho was victorious in the F/SS men discuss.
