After agreeing on a switch to Turkish Super Lig club Trabzonspor, Nigeria’s Super Eagles striker Anthony Nwakaeme has arrived in Turkey.
The skillful attacker returned to Turkey following the expiration of his contract with the Saudi Pro League side Al-Fayha.
Trabzonspor finished 3rd in the just-concluded season and will be campaigning in the UEFA Europa League.
The management of the club saw Nwakaeme’s return as a good omen for the club as they were unsure about Paul Onuachu staying with the club.
Nwakaeme arrived in Turkey on Sunday afternoon and is expected to kick start a formal discussion with the club.
