Nigerian Grammy winner Tems will perform at the FIFA Club World Cup in the United States.

The superstar will perform at the first-ever halftime show at a FIFA tournament, sharing the stage with Latino hip-hop star J Balvin and American rapper Doja Cat in a show put together by FIFA in partnership with global citizens.

Tems’ choice as part of the historic lineup reflects her status as a global superstar.

This is not her first performance in a major sporting event, as she joined Burna Boy and Rema as headliners for the historic Afrobeats NBA halftime show in 2023.

2025 has already gotten off to a busy year for Tems, who, during a recent London concert, announced that her sophomore album will be released in 2026.

This news comes as a positive development for her fans who are eagerly awaiting new material from the superstar whose debut album, ‘Born In The Wild’, enjoyed huge commercial success in 2024.
