Nigeria’s Super Eagles and West Brom striker Josh Maja made the headlines in the opening day of the 2024/2025 English Championship season.
The Baggies played away to Queens Park Rangers on Saturday and secured a 1-3 away win.
The hosts took the lead in the 16th minute through Lucas Andersen, before Maja nodded home the equalizer in the 26th minute.
The Nigeria international gave the Baggies the lead for the first time five minutes after the break.
The striker put the game beyond the hosts by netting his third of the game 25 minutes from time.
His international teammate, Semi Ajayi was also in action for West Brom.
