Stakeholders in volleyball have applauded the president of the Nigeria Volleyball Federation, Eng. Musa Nimrod over his giant contributions to the game. The volleyball boss on Monday presented 111 volleyball balls to all the 36 states including FCT at the on going sports festival.
Each states went home with 3 match balls.
There was also presentation of nets to all states in South West,south east,North Central and south south. This is coming few months after the north east and north west region got their own nets.
Director of Sports Kaduna state Yakub Ibrahim who received on behalf of sports directors in the country described the gesturebas a great motivation for volleyballers in the country. Volleyball federation president Eng. Musa Nimrod urged states to ensure more volleyball programmes are organised in their states.
Vincent onogu a renowned volleyball grassroot coach is excited over the gestures.
“For the first time our young players will have opportunity to play with the FIVB specified match balls”
