Following the completion of the 2022/2023 premier league, Nottingham Forest has released the list of their retained players ahead of the new season.
Despite struggling for most of the season, Forest were able to survive relegation and retained their premier status.
Expectedly, Taiwo Awoniyi featured prominently on the list of retained players after scoring 10 goals to top the scoring chart for the club.
His compatriot, Emmanuel Dennis was among the players that was retained despite playing a few games for the club.
Ghanaian international Andre Ayew alongside Jesse Lingard was among the notable names of players that were dropped from the team.

Six senior players’ contracts have come to an end: André Ayew, Cafú, Jack Colback, Jesse Lingard, Jordan Smith and Lyle Taylor.
