Shooting Stars head coach, Gbenga Ogunbote, has assured that his players will improve on their goal scoring lapses, ahead of the commencement of the 2023/24 Nigeria premier Football League (NPFL) season.
Ogunbote disclosed this after the Oluyole Warriors goalless draw against Sporting Lagos in a friendly match on Sunday.
The experienced tactician pointed out that the team lacks a goal poacher.
“We will take the positives from the game and make corrections where necessary,” he told the club’s media.
“The good thing is that we were able to create a lot of chances in the game, but we didn’t convert any of them, the only one we converted did not count.
“It calls for worry, but all things being equal, it is just a matter of getting it right.”
