Following their not too impressive performance in the ongoing season, Nigeria Premier Football League side Sunshine Stars have asked their head coach Edith Agoye to step aside.
Agoye joined the Akure Gunners last season and he was able to lead them to the Super 6 where they finished in 4th position.
They started this season strongly but their form seems to have gone dip and they’ve dropped further down the table.
The information coming from the team camp indicated that the former Shooting Stars manager has been asked to step aside from the team.
Meanwhile, the trio of Duke Udi, Kennedy Boboye and Deji Ayeni has been lined up as the possible replacement.
