Champion Igali in a statement issued on Saturday commended the winning attitude of the team while singling out their resilience despite late pressure from their opponent.
Champion also applauded the supportive role the state government led by Governor Douye Diri and his deputy Senator Lawrence Ewhrudjakpo have played, stressing that they have shown unwavering resolve in motivating the various state athletes
Equally, Igali urged Bayelsans to travel in their numbers to Asaba to give their beloved Bayelsa Queens the needed support once again to emerge champions of the Nigeria Women’s Football League with the view of representing the country in the CAF Women’s Champions League.
